Drift (Poetry)

Another day spent
My eyes drifted
Rain drops caught me
As a painted ones in the window
I gathered my thoughts
Painting my words
In a blank sheet of my head
I feel the longing to speak, to laugh
Just like old time.
I am homesick
I am home
Home away from home.
I am homesick for a place
I am not sure if it was existed
Or still exists.
A place where my mind is clear
My heart is full and I completely understood
Not by people, but myself.

    1. Thank you, Jan. Sometimes, we cannot help it not to feel heavy inside. Life is not always a bed of roses. There are also thorny times and bumpy. Hope this feeling as well will pass again.
