The past weekend was something truly special to me. I have attended our Special Convention in Utrecht, The Netherlands with my son. If my hobbies, travels, and vacation are worth of writing and reading, this occasion is very worthy too of my blogging. I will make the story short and the photos will tell you more.

Utrecht is an hour travel from our home. We went there with our congregation through the bus. It was a semi-international convention. Many delegates from other countries arrived in Holland to be at the convention.

The three day convention was peaceful. The colorful costumes of different nationalities will make you long for a world where all people are peaceful. The smiling faces will makes you forget for a while all the anxiety of day to day life. And most especially, all the Bible-based talks were light to this darkening world and will help us to draw close to the true God.

Our convention was held at Jaarbeurs. It is an exhibition and convention center in Utrecht, next to Utrecht Central Station. Our attendance of nearly 39,000 occupied the whole Jaarbeurs. We were divided into 12 language section. Dutch, English, Spanish, Papiemento, Arabic, and Dutch Sign Language, to name to the few. It was a joyful occasion. Many eyes got wet when the last video was shown. We all long for a new world of paradise. If only all people will believe.

Wonderful Maggy and family I am so happy that you enjoyed the convention as I did here in The USA,..I am happy to see Burt and your husband Eric,..You live in a beautiful place maybe myself or my children might apply to be a delegate there too,..I loved the videos about The Resurrection, especially so to reunite with my mother, grandparents and 3 year old son,..I wondered why the Saturday video ended like it did and was happy to see the final video Sunday and understood,..Tell the friends there i said HI ! I am proud of you and your family that you love Jehovah !!
