An Easy To Bake Chocolate Cake With Walnuts Recipe

Chocolate cake with walnuts. My apology, I am not yet good in food presentation :) Made this with the assistance of my husband.
Today is rainy here in The Netherlands. Rainy and cold. Lazy day and a good day to make something for a cup of coffee. I saw this recipe in this month's issue of Hoogvliet magazine. Hoogvliet is the supermarket where I shop our weekly consumptions.
Sugar, cocoa powder, instant coffee

Eggs.

Melted chocolate and butter
Eggs and sugar mixture.

Walnuts.
Grinded walnuts.
The complete mixture ready for the oven.

Sugar powder.
A piece for me. This is really delicious!

Ingredients:
375 pure chocolate (dark chocolate)
100 grams butter
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp instant coffee
5 eggs
250 grams sugar (I used white sugar)
200 grams walnuts
Sugar powder

Procedure:
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie for 10 minutes. Whisk 2 tablespoons cocoa powder and instant coffee into the melted chocolate. Beat the eggs and sugar in a separate bowl until turns cream. Grind half of the walnuts  and cut the rest into pieces. Keep some for toppings. Combine the egg mixture and the chocolate mixture. Mix well.

Spoon the complete mix into the mold. Bake for 45 minutes in the middle of the oven for 165 degrees. When it is done, let the cake cool in the oven. Pull off the edge of the springform pan. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar and the remaining cocoa before serving.

This is a really good match for a cup of coffee.
Wishing you all a great weekend! Until my next recipe!
