More Macro Photos
These photos are made with macro lens. Actually, they are my last minute macro photos. I made after our family eat dinner and my son finally settled in bed after a busy day for us all. These flowers are just in our garden. They look ordinary, but not for me. With macro, I present them all beautifully.

Flower Photos In Macro
After bringing my son to school, I relished my time at home alone. It is a rainy day, but a truly happy person do not feel sad or unproductive because of the rain. I took my camera, installed the macro lens and I enjoyed my time making new flower photos in macro. I selected some to share with you. I have a great collection now of flower photography. I love this hobby.

Winter Blues
My pink rose
a flowering cactus, just here inside our home.
I feel very laid back, I paused in making photographs, I paused in writing. It is actually true that winter can cause depression to many, as if there are times that the world stops. It is fun because I know some friends who are all their life long to experience the winter. Now that I am here, I wish winter last only for a moment. Anyway, the thought of going to the Philippines in January to visit my family and to enjoy the tropical sunshine is enough for me to carry on with the Dutch winter and these annoying layered clothing.
this one is almost dry and dying... but still beautiful.
I just arrived from school, I grabbed my camera and want to make even a little but beautiful photos. Click... Click. Click. Here and there. I have now some beautiful photos to share. Again, flowers in macro. I'm feeling tired. I feel cold. I feel really lazy. But I am not in the position to complain. That's all for now.

My Newest Addiction: Macro Photography

I do not like life to get monotonous.
I don't like life to get monotonous. Every day I check either in our garden, or just inside the house something new or something interesting from which I can compose my thoughts. Since I am getting hooked with macro photography, the flowers that are just flowers for me before, now they are more interesting objects to me. We have many flowers in the garden. Every day, I checked what is new with them. They are the same flowers that I know, but every time I go and look closer, my imagination gone far on how they will will look like in macro. I love macro photography and it is my newest addiction! Hahaha!
My son is now sleeping and I seized the chance to be alone in the garden. I am glad that although a bit cold today, at least it is a dry day with the yellowish glow of the sunshine. I made some beautiful macro photos to share again. I do hope you will like them.
For those who just came in to follow my blog, I want to let you know that I am not a professional photographer. I am simply a hobbyist photographer. As how I obtained my college degree through home-study, my photography is also a self-effort. My husband gives me some pointers when I needed it. It is funny because I love photography now than him! Now that some people and some professional photographers around the world recognized that I can make a beautiful photo, I also just started dreaming... Dreaming that one day, I will get a full recognition of my work... By the way, I am enjoying both: photography and blogging! Until here and I am wishing you all a great and relaxing weekend!

How I do macro photography? I have a digital Canon 1200 camera that my husband gave me. My husband has also his Canon 400D camera, bigger than mine, and he had many lenses. He taught me of macro photography, how to change lenses. At first, my photos were all blurred hahahah!

After a couple times of try out, I got clearer and beautiful macro photos. I learned the technique. How to steady my hands. There were times that very windy and the subject was swaying, swinging! But I enjoy the challenge! I look closer the object, I visualize which angle it will look better. I am satisfied with the outcome.
I am also glad when the photos I made are good as is, no need for editing. I like viewing beautiful photos, but honestly, I don't like photos with a lot of retouch, it does not look real or realistic.

Today, I made some nice macro photos just here in our garden. Since it is only my husband who see my photos, I use my blog to show to the world my photography. Before, my hobbies are cross-stictching, reading, and even the Candy Crush have my free time. Now, macro photography is my most loved hobby. I take time to read photography books, I am a Photoshop self-learner. Perhaps in time, photography can also be my bread and butter.

Many Of The Best Things In Life Start With Letter M; So Is Macro!
I have posted before on my Instagram a photo of Magnum ice cream with the caption: many of the best things in life start with letter M. In random order, magazine, meeting, men, memory, milk, mirror, mobile phone, mother, muffin, makeup, marriage. Today, I discovered another thing that also starts with the letter M and I found very interesting, the macrophotography.
I have a great passion for photography. I love making nature photos, particularly flowers. I live in The Netherlands, where you can see a variety of beautiful flowers even in winter season. The Netherlands is an exporter of expensive flowers. Since the day that I live here, flowers have become a special part of my day to day life.
I am thankful to my husband for giving me a beautiful camera. When he came back from his working trip to Singapore, he arrived home with a new camera for me. A very handy Canon camera that I can change lenses. Today, I have started to use the macro lens and enjoying macro photography.
I started making macro photos in our garden. We have many flowering plants and practice making photos with them. As I go on, I have learned that once you look closely to these flowers, you will see more... More beauty not only on the surface. You will realize that those small bits make a flower completely worthy of admiration.
I love to share some of the macro photos that I made today. Don't forget, life is fun and interesting because of the details. So as the flowers. Thanks to macro, I can go... Closer!
